Yes. It is very common in Eelam Tamil culture for parents or siblings to assist in the matchmaking process. You may create a profile on behalf of your son, daughter or sibling. Please ensure all details are accurate and that the person is aware of and consents to the registration.

You must be at least 18 years old to register on Kalyanasangamam. Our system automatically validates date of birth during registration and will not allow profiles for anyone under 18.

Use the Search Profiles page to filter by gender, age range, country of residence, religion, marital status, education and more. You can also use the Quick Search on the homepage to get started instantly.

Open any profile and click Send Interest. The other member will receive a notification. Free members can send up to 5 interests per month; premium members have no limit. You can also send a short personal message along with your interest.

Shortlisting saves a profile to your personal favourites list for easy reference. It is a private action — the other member is not notified. You can view and manage your shortlist from your Member Dashboard.

Yes. Your dashboard shows recent profile visitors. The number of view notifications you receive depends on your membership plan.

Both plans are valid for 1 month and unlock unlimited interest sending, private messaging, and full contact visibility. The key difference is the number of profile contacts you can view: Premium gives you 5 contact views (₹2,999/month), while Premium Plus gives you 10 contact views (₹4,999/month) along with a featured profile placement, priority search listing, and a verified badge. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase, provided fewer than 5 profile contacts have been accessed. Please see our full Refund Policy for details, or contact us to initiate a request.

No. Memberships on Kalyanasangamam are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. You will receive an email reminder before your plan expires and can choose to renew manually.

All new registrations require an email OTP verification before the profile becomes visible. Our team additionally reviews profiles for authenticity and may request supporting documents. Verified profiles display a green Verified badge.

Contact information (phone number, full email) is only visible to premium members. Free members can see the profile but not personal contact details. Guest visitors see blurred photos and masked names.

Yes. From any profile or within the messaging system you can block a member. A blocked member cannot contact you, view your profile, or see you in search results. You can also report any abusive behaviour and our team will investigate promptly.

To delete your account permanently, please contact our support team with your registered email address. We will process the deletion within 3 business days and send you a confirmation. Alternatively, you may deactivate your profile temporarily from your dashboard.

First, check your spam or junk folder. If the email is not there, click Resend OTP on the verification page. Ensure the email address you registered with is correct. If the issue persists, contact support.

On the Login page, click Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address and we will send you a secure reset link. The link expires after 1 hour for security reasons.

You can upload a main profile photo and additional gallery images from your dashboard. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG and WEBP. We recommend clear, recent photos with good lighting. All photos are reviewed by our team before appearing on your profile.

Yes. You can update all your profile information at any time from your Member Dashboard — including personal details, photos, horoscope, and preferences.
